The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Road Transport Agency has been established

On 29 August, Acting Chairman of the Ali Majlis (Parliament) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (Azerbaijan) Anar Ibrahimov signed a decree on measures to improve management in the sphere of road transport in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
In accordance with the decree, a public law legal entity, the Nakhchivan Road Transport Agency (NANA/NATA), was established under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and its charter was approved.
The Agency will oversee the field of road transport in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, ensuring the availability of road transportation and other road transport services, monitoring compliance with the rules and requirements for passenger and cargo transportation within the Autonomous Republic, as well as the provisions of normative legal acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and international treaties in this field.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic shall approve the description of the official uniforms of the Agency's employees performing control functions, insignia and the procedure for wearing them. Furthermore, within two months, it shall prepare and submit to the Chairman of the Ali Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic proposals on bringing the acts of the Chairman of the Ali Majlis into compliance with this decree.
